For the closing weekend of the M/other exhibition, we are proud to present a PechaKucha event. PechaKucha is a quick-fire storytelling format that loosely translates to ‘chit-chat’ in Japanese. Each presenter will show 20 slides for 20 seconds each, resulting in a 6 minutes and 40 seconds insight into the presenter’s life.

We are thrilled to have a line-up of women from around our district who will discuss diverse topics ranging from adoption to anxiety, motherhood, and money. This event aims to bring together mothers from around the Whakatāne District, to share, connect and find solidarity.

This is a free, family-friendly event. Please join us to celebrate the end of the M/other exhibition.
M/other has been developed by Sarah Hudson with support from Creative NZ.
