The museum currently has a moratorium in place, and will not be accepting any new material for consideration.
This has enabled the museum to assess its current collections and its contents. If you have material that you consider to be of value to the museum collection, please contact the museum and they will take details. The moratorium will be in place until further notice.

The Whakatāne Museum holds a collection that is of both regional and national significance. We have a responsibility to care for these objects to ensure the preservation of our District's rich cultural heritage.
