Featuring works by artists from throughout Aotearoa and chosen from 294 entries, finalists were selected by three independent Preliminary Judges and the winners by Guest Judge Bob Jahnke.

In this exhibition the convergence of cultures is explored through documented exchanges between missionaries in New Zealand, and Māori in England during the first half of the 19th Century. Like two waters meeting, the complex swirl and flow of ripples and resistance between two peoples will lead to everlasting change.
