The series of public programmes to support Te Kōputu’s new exhibition Te Urewera Conversations continues with Te Urewera Triptych – the untold story.

Tame Iti shares his insights into the intriguing chapter of political and art history which saw the Colin McCahon painting Te Urewera Triptych stolen from the Department of Conservation Visitor Centre at Aniwaniwa and returned over a year later.
