Visual Expressions showcases selected works by members of the Whakatāne Society of Arts and Crafts. Originally formed in 1960 as the ’Form & Colour Group’ to promote local arts and crafts, the Society is still thriving today with 150 current members from around the District.
This annual exhibition presents a wide range of arts including painting, woodturning, sculpture, pottery and fibre craft. The Society offers a range of groups, classes and workshops to develop new artistic skills and inspire our local creative community.
