Ngā Mata o te Ariki Tāwhirimātea is a fusion of passions through the media of paint and music.

In this exhibition Erena Koopu captures the lyrical musings of Maisey Rika’s latest album Ngā Mata o te Ariki Tāwhirimātea, which celebrates local tribal narratives of the Matariki star cluster. The result is a combined narrative of iwi histories, emotion and whakapapa through visual expression.
