Established in 1960, the Whakatāne Society of Arts and Crafts inc. began as a way for friends to learn about painting together. This exhibition celebrates the Whakatāne Society of Arts and Crafts and their role in designating a space for creative comradery in our town.

Come along and make your own poi in this family-friendly workshop. Staff will be on hand to guide you through the process, combining wool, textile scraps and offcuts, into a one-of-a-kind, plastic-free poi.
