Gallery talk Come along to hear a range of members from Whakatāne Camera Club talk about their photography passions and processes! All are welcome to join us and learn more about the work and creativity that goes on behind the scenes of great photographs.

This Gallery Talk is a public event that accompanies Whakatāne Camera Club’s exhibition View Points, on at Te Kōputu a te whanga a Toi – Whakatāne Library and Exhibition Centre until 2 pm Sunday, 10 June. Be sure to take a look at the fantastic work on show!

About the Whakatāne Museum

The Whakatāne Museum is located in the Eastern Bay of Plenty and serves the Whakatāne District and the Mataatua rohē. The museum operates over two premises.

Museum Background

The origins of the museum date to 1933, with the formation of the Bay of Plenty Māori and Historical Research Society.
